Premier Access / Fastpass

Fastpass is gone - Hello Premier Access!

Premier Access

If you’d like to pay to skip a queue, Disney has kindly facilitated this with Premier Access! Once you buy Premier Access, your Disneyland Paris phone app shows a QR code which you scan at the entrance to the Premier Access queue. Gone is the free “Fastpass” option and we are really only left with 2 simple options:

  • Day Pass “Premier Access Ultimate” - this ranges from 90 EUR to 190 EUR per person. You get one go on each attraction on the list below. There’s no need to book a time slot. You can buy Ultimate in advance on the app, through your Travel Agent or on the day via the app.

  • Ride Pass “Premier Access One” - this ranges from 9 EUR to 18 EUR per person per ride. Once you link each person’s ticket to the app, you purchase the passes on the app using your credit card. From there you are given a 1 hour time slot (usually starting 30 mins after you buy).

Reasons to buy Premier Access:

  • You are not staying onsite so you don’t have Extra Magic Time

  • You are only there for 1-2 days and you want to get as much done as possible

  • You or someone in your group cannot stand queues (or cannot queue and is not eligible for a priority/easy access pass)

  • You aren’t focused on keeping costs down and want a premium experience in the parks

Reasons not to buy Premier Access

  • You are staying onsite so you can use Extra Magic time to get 3 attractions done that would normally have long queues

  • You don’t mind the regular queue times and can use the app to smartly avoid the longest queues

  • You or someone in your group is eligible for a Priority or Easy Access pass due to disability or a long term condition

  • You are trying to keep costs down

  • Most of the rides listed below don’t appeal to you, or you have kids under the height limits

List of Attractions covered by Premier Access:

  1. Phantom Manor

  2. Big Thunder Mountain

  3. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril

  7. Star Tours: The Adventure Continues

  8. Autopia

  10. It’s a Small World

  11. Pirates of the Caribbean

  16. Crush’s Coaster

Top Tip: Nobody needs Premier Access Ultimate - this is a pure treat and is probably best used during the quiet months when the cost is low and you want to stay out of the elements. I like to think of Premier Access One as a “Pay as you go” option that lets you react to where you are in the parks and what your plan is for the next few hours. It’s also a good option if some of your group (maybe the older kids) want to go on a thrill ride but you don’t want to split up the group for an hour or more.

Bonus tip: When you use Premier Access, you can still ask for a Parent/Baby switch pass when getting off a ride. This means that the entire family can benefit by doubling-up on the queue skipping, but paying only for the first ride. Example: Dad and daughter buy Premier Access One for Big Thunder Mountain costing 2 x 18 EUR = 36 EUR. When getting off, you ask for a Parent/Baby switch pass for 2 people. Then Mam and daughter get instantly back on the ride (using the Premier Access queue). This way, both parents get instantly on the ride and daughter gets to ride twice! If you all bought Premier Access it would cost 3 x 18 EUR and daughter would only get to ride once!

Bonus bonus tip: Premier access can be purchased at Town Hall or Studio Services if you don’t have or don’t want to use your phone all day!

How to Purchase Premier Access Ultimate:

  1. Download the Disneyland Paris app.

  2. Link your Disney stay or your Disney park tickets (if staying offsite - works no matter where you got your tickets) to the Disneyland Paris app.

  3. Follow the instructions within the App to purchase Disney Premier Access Ultimate for the exact day you want. This can be done well in advance. Price will change depending on how busy the parks are. Cost is usually 90 EUR - 180 per person per day.

  4. The pass covers one ride on each attraction listed across the two parks. If you don’t have a 2-park ticket, you can only use the pass for the rides in the park you are in.

  5. That’s it! No waiting around for a time slot or window. Just scan the QR code inside the app at the Premier Access queue any of the rides listed above.

How to Purchase Premier Access One:

  1. Download the Disneyland Paris app.

  2. Link your Disney stay or your Disney park tickets (if staying offsite - works no matter where you got your tickets) to the Disneyland Paris app.

  3. Once you are in the parks, open the app and follow the instructions to buy single “Premier Access One” passes per person, per ride. You don’t have to buy passes for everyone in your group, just don’t who want to go on the ride. It’s really handy if you buy your passes while in the queue for another ride. Cost is usually 8 EUR to 20 EUR per person per ride.

  4. You usually get a 1 hour window to come back, which usually starts 30 mins after you buy the pass.

  5. You can only buy these passes on the day, and pricing adjusts depending how busy the rides are.

  6. That’s it! Scan the QR code inside the app at the Premier Access queue any of the rides listed above.
