Important things to bring on your trip

It might be a short trip, but being fully prepared can save you a lot of time, stress and money!

General bits well before you go:

  1. Book airport parking and transfers prior to departure.

  2. First Aid kit (see bottom of this page).

  3. Passports (in date for your travel days), tickets (attendance registered if you have undated tickets or annual passes), boarding passes and hotel booking confirmation. It’s worth printing things in case your phone doesn’t play ball.

  4. Travel insurance (essential) and EHIC (European Health Insurance Card - these are free and available to process online).

  5. Money (minimum 50 EUR per person cash in case ATM machines don’t work), bank cards and bum-bag for valuables.

  6. Travel adapters, extension lead, phone chargers and battery charging packs.

  7. Refillable water bottles and mini squash.

Toiletries:

  1. Travel-size shampoo, conditioner, shower-gel, toothpaste, toothbrush, mouthwash, face and body cream and anti-perspirant!

  2. Make-up bag, make-up remover pads, nail file, razor, hairbrush, hair-clips, scrunchies and hairdryer/straightener, hair products.

Things for Adults:

  1. Spare comfy shoes (do not bring/wear new shoes) and warm clothing.

  2. Teabags/coffee/latte sachets/ keep-cup.

  3. A good waterproof back pack and snack packs.

  4. Ziplock bags for food/liquids.

  5. Book/kindle/iPad for staying sane in the queues.

  6. Ear plugs - either for flying or for sensitive ears at the fireworks.

Cold Weather:

Under armour/skins/thermals, ponchos, warm hats, scarves or snoods, gloves, hand and foot insole warmers, with thick socks and lots of layers! (It can get so cold in Winter/Early Spring. Maybe bring a compact umbrella.

Things for Kids :

  1. Back packs that they can actually wear and hold useful things!

  2. Hand gel and wet wipes

  3. Nappies/swim nappies/nappy sacks and milk formula

  4. Disney theme costumes and clothing

  5. Autograph books and sharpie pen

  6. Games console/Tablet (great for queues)

  7. Playing cards, colouring books or little games like Dobble

  8. Light weight Buggy, small padlock and warm blanket for chilly evenings (ALOT of walking.. bring the buggy for kids up to 6yrs old)

  9. Lots of warm socks and spare comfy shoes

  10. Swimsuit/ flip flops/pool shoes

  11. Snack packs (jellies, cereal bars, croissants etc)

First Aid / Essential Basic Medications:

Please note: it is much more difficult to obtain what we would classify as “Over the Counter” medicines in and around Disneyland Paris. You are strongly advised to bring with you any medications or interventions you feel you or your family might need, or take regularly while at home. The below is just a “common sense” list from our community of parents to prevent anything from being forgotten.

  1. Thermometer.

  2. Vicks Vapo Rub / Plug ins (EU adaptor as necessary).

  3. Paracetamol / Neurofen for Adults.

  4. Capol / Neurofen / Paralink (suppositories) for Children.

  5. European Health Coverage Card (EHIC).

  6. Travel Insurance Card and Emergency phone number.

  7. Difene, Motilium, Immodium and Dioralyte.

  8. Plasters / Band Aids, Compede Blister plasters.

  9. Vaseline, Lip Balm, Sun Cream + After Sun (Good hats to prevent sun-burn in the first place!).

  10. Hay-fever medications such as antihistamine, or hay bands.
